As the project manager for Burnidge Cassell & Associates, Paul Bednar prepared and presented documents to the Village of Huntley in order to receive re-zoning for a restaurant/antique shop approval. Eagle Inn (now named Nikkos) in Huntley was designed to look like an old farmhouse complete with historic additions. The landscape plans and various site elements, such as the lighting, needed to compliment the building architecture. The Village required heavy buffer treatments along the frontage road. In addition, the plantings at the entryway created an English perennial garden as per the client's wishes. This illustration is the master site and landscape plan (credit: BCA). |
