Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church had prepared preliminary architectural plans for a building addition. Landscape buffers are an important element of any Village permit approval, since the addition will be in close proximity to an existing residential neighborhood. Paul Bednar Planning & Design was hired in Spring of 2006 to do an existing tree survey of the grounds and develop a concept landscape plan. Construction documents will be produced when the building concept design is approved by the Village. Illustration is a sketch of the conceptual landscape treatment along the residential neighborhood. The fire lane shown connecting the area on both ends of the building limited the amount of buffering possible. |
