Paul Bednar Planning & Design, Ltd. was hired to design a labyrinth garden for Provena St. Joseph Hospital in 2003. This labyrinth is located in a hidden courtyard space on the hospital grounds. Elements include a paver brick surface, perennials for color and interest, shrubs for shade and enclosure. All existing mature trees were preserved.

Many employees spend "the best minutes of their day" in this garden.
